This Buddha statue was built in 1867 by an eminent monk named Luang Bo Tao. The huge Buddha statue overlooking the surroundings is impressive, used to enshrine the Buddha‘s relics invited from Sri Lanka. The toes of the Buddha statues are covered with gold moorings and used as altars to place various offerings such as garlands and flowers
